Noah, c’mon…

I know he’s a really good basketball player and I like his attitude even though he takes it to far sometimes. But I’ve always felt that he doesn’t have what it takes to be successful at the professional level. I really hope that he proves me wrong, as he is of part Swedish origin and god knows that good basketball players doesn’t come in abundance here.

During his rookie season I didn’t get to watch him in that many games but the stats didn’t really impress me, and the fact that his teammates decided to bench him for an extra game after a confrontation with the assistant coach is not a sign of greatness. This is not college anymore and I think he has got to drop the extracurricular activities and start playing.

Last night, apparently, the story continues with his arrest in Florida. And I know his case is nothing special, everyone who follow American sports knows that stars get arrested on a quite regular basis. But I just get so tired of it, c’mon you’re supposed to be professional athletes and you know that all eyes are on you. But that’s about as unprofessional as it gets. And in the Noah case, if he get’s convicted and sentenced to jail, I have a really hard time seeing him turning his career to the right path again, and he will be passed on as a great college athlete who couldn’t handle the life of a professional. And personally I’m just tired of his antics and couldn’t really care less.

Skärpning!

btw, the fine he can get, $500, must be the most ridiculus ever, I mean Noah made $2,1 milj last season.
